Agreement
These Terms govern your use of HomeAdvocate (homeadvocate.ai) at homeadvocate.ai. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
homeadvocate.ai helps homeowners draft HOA-related response letters, manage cases, and export PDFs. Features may change over time.
Not legal advice
homeadvocate.ai is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client relationships. Letters and information are for general informational and advocacy-support purposes only. Consult a licensed attorney for advice about your specific situation.
Accounts
You sign in with a phone number and one-time passcode. You are responsible for activity on your account and for providing accurate information.
Credits, subscriptions, and payments
Letter generation and other features may consume credits or require a paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful content, or use generated letters to harass or defraud others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Intellectual property
The homeadvocate.ai product, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you upload. You grant us a license to process that content to provide the service (including letter generation).
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee any outcome with your HOA, board, or any third party.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HomeAdvocate AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
